Key Digital is very proud to announce that our CEO and President Mike Tsinberg received 2013 Adele De Berri Pioneers Award at InfoComm 2013.
The announcement was made at InfoComm 2013 President's VIP reception on Thursday June 13th. The InfoComm International Adele De Berri Pioneers Award highlights important contributions made by industry individuals to the science of AV.
The award calls attention to the AV and information communications industries by recognizing pioneers who made scientific breakthroughs resulting in new AV technologies that impacted the manufacturing and sales of novel products enjoyed by audiences worldwide.

Are Key Digital's HDMI products capable of supporting 3D and 4K? |

All current Key Digital® Matrix Switchers, Switchers, Distribution Amps and Extenders are 3D ready and have the ability to pass 3D stereoscopic signal formats. In addition to this, the KD-CATHD250Lite and KD-CATHD250POH also support 4K resolutions up to 4096x2160/24 for commercial applications. |

I love using Key Digital HDMI baluns because of the reliability. With flat-panel displays getting increasingly thinner and mounts also getting slimmer, how can I create space for installing your balun at the display? |
A: |
Very good question. It used to be that the 3-4 inches provided by wall mounts a few years ago left plenty of room to mount your balun and have a comfortable installation… That is no longer the case! To help our installers, Key Digital has moved to a USB power option on the Rx side of the KD-CATHD150 extenders. The extender is able to take power from the display's USB port. Key Digital still recommends using the wall-wart option if possible, because we can never guarantee the display will output proper voltage. |

How does IR signal extension work on your HDBaseT baluns KD-CATHD300Lite, KD-CATHD500Pro? |
A: |
The Rx port of each extender is connected to the Tx port of the other extender. Send your IR signal into the Rx port of one extender and it will come out the Tx port of the other extender. The Rx port receives the IR signal and the Tx port transmits it to the device you wish to control. |
